The Education Advising and Student Services (EASS) professional staff provides current and prospective students with academic counseling, admissions support, teacher certification information, and student services to meet personal, academic and career goals.

The Office of Student Services is located in the Lower Level of the School of Public Health & Information Sciences. Student Services mission is to provide quality support and resources for students pursuing graduate degrees within the School of Public Health and Information Sciences.

At the University of Louisville, we view academic advising as an educational partnership between student and advisor. In Honors, our highest-achieving students understand the critical importance and benefits of maintaining a good relationship with their academic advisors. Honors students are expected to meet with an academic advisor no less than once per academic year. In many cases, students choose to meet with an Honors advisor each semester.

The role of your advisor is to assist you in staying on track with academic progress. You must meet with you advisor to register for classes at minimum until completion of the first 90 hours of educational requirements. Students are encouraged to speak with full time faculty members to discuss professional questions about the Profession of Social Work.
