The mission of the University of Louisville Police Department is to maintain public peace and safety, safeguard the assets of the institution and our faculty, staff, students, and visitors, and assist in providing an environment conducive to the teaching, research, and public service missions of the University. ULPD is the fastest and best resource to use for students, faculty, staff, and visitors if they are unsafe, or witness violence, theft, and/or violation of a crime.
